When Feeling On Edge and Exhausted Become Your Normal
This isn’t just stress, and it isn’t something to push through. It’s a nervous system pattern – and there’s a real, structured way to change it.
Hosted by Sarah Day-Boodhoo, who helps women break the pattern behind stress, anxiety, and exhaustion.
Maybe it’s the same old argument, the one that always somehow circles back to being about you. Maybe it’s the piling on, the tasks, the emotional weight, the things nobody else seems to carry, that always land on you first. Whatever it looks like in your life, if it feels familiar, you’re not imagining it.
If you’re here, you’ve probably tried a lot, too. Therapy. Supplements. The walks. The journaling. Maybe you’ve read the books. Some of it helped – for a while.
This isn’t another one of those. I’m going to share exactly what I did – how I wanted a little calm, and in turn, my anxiety settled into a steady baseline, my relationships started improving right away, and where I wanted to go next in my career came into focus. And I want to show you how you can do the same.
What this evening creates
What’s in the “bag”
60 minutes, live, that build toward:
- See exactly what’s been keeping you stuck, in your relationships, your work, or the anxious hum that won’t fully turn off
- Why the things you’ve tried haven’t lasted, and why it isn’t because you’re missing something
- Why the same patterns keep looping, and how they’re really your body’s wisdom, working hard to send you a message
- A clear look at the Capacity Method, and what real, lasting change requires
- A concrete next step
Clarity and awareness are where it all starts.

It’s one problem, showing up in different ways.
You’ve tried to think your way into calm. Journal it out. Talk it through with someone who’d listen. And some of it helped – for a while. Then the same argument, the same ache, the same exhaustion found its way back anyway. That’s not you doing something wrong.
You want relationships that don’t leave you bracing. Work you don’t dread. A day that feels like it’s actually yours. Those aren’t the wrong things to want. And they aren’t three separate problems. They’re one pattern, showing up in different places.
Most of us learned how to build muscle, keep our teeth clean, and which foods are good for the body. Almost none of us learned how to care for the system running underneath all of it.
That’s where we start. Seeing the pattern clearly, and understanding what it takes to change it.
Nobody taught you how to tone your nervous system.
Or process a feeling before it becomes a loop.
Or rewire a pattern once it’s set.
Not because anyone failed.
Because nobody knew how, either.– Sarah Day-Boodhoo
This is for you if
- Your life looks fine from the outside looking in, but on the inside, you feel a deep frustration that doesn’t seem to let up – no matter what you do
- The second someone else needs something from you, you’re already there. The second it’s just you counting on you, you’re the one who gets sacrificed – every time.
- You check with everyone else before you trust your own read on things
- You want to be able to say no without feeling guilty about it for the rest of the day
- You want steadiness to be your baseline – not managing, not coping, not white-knuckling, just steady
You’re not in crisis. Not really. You have a real level of stability, and you already know that. What you don’t understand is why you can’t actually enjoy it. And underneath, that gap can rear up and feel like a crisis – even in the quiet moments when you know it isn’t.
What becomes possible
When your nervous system is unstable, it shows up as exhaustion. As anxiety. As a stress you can’t quite explain, even when nothing’s technically wrong. And expressed as anger, frustration, or withdrawal.
And as long as that instability is running the show, everything else stays out of reach – the life you actually want, relationships that feel steady instead of exhausting, days that feel full of drive and purpose instead of just getting through them.
Understanding it is the start. This is what makes it real.
Why nothing has lasted
Your body isn’t fighting you. It’s trying to be heard.
Your nervous system is one of the most intelligent systems on the planet. When you use something to quiet it down, to calm the anxiety or the spinning mind, it might go along for a while. But it’s smarter than that. It wises up.
Anxiety isn’t your body messing up. It’s a signal.
Sound familiar?
If you’ve ever thought…
- I can see myself doing the same thing over and over, and nothing I do changes it.
- I love my people, and I still snap at them.
- I’m good at my job and I don’t know why I dread it.
- I try to hold it all together, but inside it feels chaotic.
…this evening is for you.

I help women break the pattern behind stress, anxiety, and exhaustion, so steady becomes their baseline.
I didn’t set out to overcome anxiety. Honestly, I didn’t even think of myself as anxious – I thought that was just how most people lived. What I actually wanted was to feel less frustrated, to stop snapping at my family so quickly, to not feel angry all the time. I was desperate, and felt like I had very little to lose. What I found opened up an entirely new way of living – and that’s what I want to share with you.
Today I’ve taught nearly 4,000 hours of yoga. I’m an ICF-certified health and life coach, and a Reiki practitioner. But none of that is why this works. What works is that I’ve lived every part of what I teach. This is what got me out of feeling so on edge I wondered if I needed to quit my job, or whether my marriage even had a future, and into feeling steady, calm, and clear as my baseline. I’m not describing a theory. I’m sharing what worked.
The Capacity Method comes from that same place. It blends thousands of years of yogic wisdom, the tradition I’ve spent over two decades studying and living inside of, with what modern neuroscience now understands about how the nervous system changes. Not ancient for its own sake, and not the science for its own sake, together, because that’s what works. Simple enough to do in minutes. Real enough that your nervous system responds to it.

Why this works
This starts with your nervous system, not your willpower
Therapy, journaling, boundaries scripts, the books – most of what you’ve tried has real value. It works at the level of the thought, not the level of the pattern underneath it that keeps producing the same thought in the first place.
That pattern is what the Capacity Method was built for.
“I would not be navigating these challenges and changes well if it weren’t for my practice.”– Laurel, one year after completing the program
What to expect
What this evening can – and can’t – do
What it can do: Give you real clarity on the pattern that’s been quietly running things. Introduce you to a proven, structured path for changing it. Show you exactly what a next step could look like, if you want one.
What it can’t do: Fix everything in one sitting.
Knowing the difference is what makes this evening worth your time.
What women are saying
Real words from real women
You don’t need less proof because you’re smart. You need better proof. Here’s some of it.
Common questions
What you might be wondering
What if I’ve never done anything like this before?
This works for everyone – from those who’ve tried it all to those just starting to look for real answers. You don’t need any experience with coaching, or anything like this. Show up with a little curiosity and an open heart.
Is this actually free?
Yes. No card required to register. At the end, I’ll share the next steps to work with me, for those who are ready for this kind of real change.
What if I’m already in therapy?
Wonderful. This doesn’t replace therapy – they do different things. Many women find them complementary.
Do I need to have my camera on?
No, it’s perfectly fine to keep your camera off. That said, the women who engage fully tend to get the most out of it – if you can be fully present for the 60 minutes, you’ll get more from it.
What should I bring?
Just yourself, and maybe a notebook if you like to jot things down.
Will there be a replay?
This one is live only, so I’d reserve your spot on the calendar now.
